I am originally from Grosse Pointe, Michigan, settling in Vermont in 1973 ( it is a long, but very good story). I taught school for about 11 years and have been in real estate since 1984. I am an agent for buyers, sellers and a developer, having built and redone properties as time allowed.

Background: I have been living in Central Vermont for 7 years and have been visiting relatives here all my life. I decided to emigrated from the UK in search of the rural VT idyll. My husband and I bought land, built a house and bought a few sheep. Then came more animals. Then came kids. The farm now raises heritage breed cows, pigs, sheep and chickens and the kids are a great help with the chores!Professionally: I have always had a keen interest in buying and selling property. Working part time in the new Strafford office I take care of the details in the listings and filings! My background is in construction management and architectural drafting & design. I combine my love of homes with attention to detail when working in the offices of Ann Swanson Real Estate. My other interests involve working on my small farm in Strafford, volunteering at High Horses Therapy riding program and competitive tennis in Vermont.
